We have been blessed with 3 healthy children whom we love and enjoy on a daily basis. We love loving our kids, making them laugh, providing for their needs, guiding them as they grow as individuals, and just enjoying being a family together. It’s a blast.
Even with the present size of our wonderful family, we both feel a strong desire to have ONE more, a 4th child join our family. We have decided for several reasons that we want to adopt the 6th member of our family.
Why adopt? UNICEF estimates that there are 143-210 million orphans in the world. That’s a lot of kids that don’t have a place to call home, that don’t have family to love them, that don’t have parents to provide for them, and that don’t have siblings to laugh and play with them.
Our family is not able to help 143 million orphans, but we are able, willing, and wanting to help ONE. We have a house that will hold another child, a family with hearts longing to love another child, the means to provide for another child, and children who are excited about the prospect of playing, loving, and laughing with a new sibling.
While we are able to provide the above for another child, the cost of adoption is currently prohibitive for our family. The cost for adoption, domestic or international, can easily exceed $20,000 for ONE child.
So with humility and gratitude, we ask you to consider helping us, help ONE orphan become a member of our family. We’re raising funds to help pay for the adoption expenses.
Please look over the attached list of things we are selling and consider purchasing something, or everything, knowing that 100% of your purchase will go towards funding our adoption and bringing ONE orphan home to become part of our family. Everything is homemade and guaranteed to be great. If you have a hankering for something not listed, please let us know as Meredith is an amazing cook who can make just about anything!
